August 15, 2016ROCK HILL, S.C. – (Aug. 8, 2016) – The American Cable Association (ACA) honored several members, including South Carolina-based Comporium’s Bill Beaty, at its national conference in Orlando, Fla. The ACA’s awards were in recognition of the support of the organization as well as their commitment to providing high-quality video, voice and broadband service to consumers in rural and remote parts of the country.
Beaty, who served as the company’s executive vice president of cable TV before retiring earlier this year, was presented the Eagle Award. “The individuals and companies that ACA is honoring with its most prestigious awards are exceptionally talented and dedicated, and I salute them all for the accolades that they so richly deserve,” ACA President and CEO Matt Polka said in a statement.
The Independent Show is co-hosted and jointly organized by ACA and the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC).
ACA’s awards presentation came at the annual ACA Membership meeting held in conjunction with the Independent Show, a leading communications industry forum co-hosted and jointly organized by ACA and the National Cable Television Cooperative.
