Comporium and Nest are helping customers cut their energy use

ROCK HILL, S.C. – (March 9, 2017) Comporium is excited to announce that the ReadyHome security and home-automation system now works with the Nest Learning Thermostat.  Starting today, customers can control their Nest Thermostat using the ReadyHome mobile app. This combination allows ReadyHome and ReadyHome Lite customers the ability to enjoy their Comporium automation services and Nest intelligence in one app.

The addition of the Nest Thermostat will help the thousands of ReadyHome customers, who already trust Comporium to protect their homes with cameras and door locks, save more on their monthly energy bills. The Nest Thermostat’s reputation as a trusted and effective product that is easy to use and has been proven to help save energy was a key point in Comporium’s decision to build a Works with Nest integration for the ReadyHome product offering.  The Nest Thermostat is currently the only smart thermostat in the United States to be ENERGY STAR^® certified by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Comporium will offer the option to purchase a Nest Thermostat to new customers signing up for a ReadyHome service bundle.  Customers who already have ReadyHome service can choose to add a Nest Thermostat to their existing system for $99 with a one-year contract extension.  Customers can also provide their own Nest Thermostat.  Anyone interested in seeing the Nest Thermostat or the the ReadyHome lineup in action can visit either the Stonecrest store in Tega Cay or the Fountain Park Place store in Rock Hill.  Both locations feature immersive product demonstration areas where consumers can experience the product before choosing to purchase it.
