October 28, 2015ROCK HILL, S.C. – (Sept. 28, 2015) – Comporium is introducing a refreshed corporate logo that features not only a more modern look but also strengthens the brand with greater visibility for its retail stores.
“It’s hard to believe that 14 years have passed since we introduced the name ‘Comporium’ and our accompanying ‘Cee Gee’ (Comporium Group) graphic in March 2001,” said Matthew Dosch, executive vice president of customer operations and external affairs. “In that time the products and services we provide, and even the markets we are in, have all changed dramatically, so it was time for a change in our branding.”
Dosch said the refreshed logo features a slightly larger Cee Gee, as well as the Comporium name in a black, bold italic font that conveys strength and movement.
“One intent of the new look is to ensure that our customers can find us more easily,” said Dosch. “Customers will immediately see the new branding on webmail, our website, monthly statements and on company communications.”
Rather than a speedy “flash cut” to the new look, Comporium plans a deliberate, controlled transition to manage costs and prioritize its resources. The company will install new signage at two of its retail locations by the end of this year. In 2016 it will continue to roll out new signage as well as introduce a new interior store design
