March 25, 2014ROCK HILL, S.C. – ( March 25, 2014 ) – Comporium announced today that it is restructuring its organization and added new areas of responsibilities to Harry Miller, executive vice president of planning and development, and to Matt Dosch, senior vice president of external affairs and customer contact center.
Effective May 1, Miller will be responsible for installation and repair and for facilities and construction in addition to his current oversight of information technology; engineering and planning; Internet planning and development; network services; new venture startup; and, wireless planning and development.
Miller began his career as an assistant outside plant engineer in 1972 and progressed through engineering positions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Clemson University and is a registered professional engineer.
Also on May 1, Dosch’s responsibilities will include business and residential sales for all of Comporium’s service areas, including York and Lancaster counties and the Midlands in South Carolina and in Transylvania County and the Charlotte area in North Carolina. He continues to be responsible for state and federal regulatory and legislative affairs, industry relations, provisioning of wholesale carrier services, carrier access billing, inter-company settlements and company “cost” development and tariff administration.
A graduate of Duke University with a double major in public policy studies and English, Dosch joined Comporium in 1994.
Comporium also announced the retirement of 40-year veteran Glenn McFadden, who serves as executive vice president and COO. McFadden will retire effective April 30. He began his career in Marketing as a marketing representative and became director of marketing services in 1982. He was named operations manager in 1994 and vice president in 1995.
