Becci Smith Promoted to Vice President – Controller
ROCK HILL, S.C. – January 13, 2020 – Comporium announced that it has promoted Becci Smith to the role of Vice President – Controller. Reporting directly to the company’s CFO, Smith is responsible for all accounting and financial reporting for Comporium, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Additionally, she has oversight for developing and implementing the company’s financial policies and procedures with a goal of increasing efficiency.

Smith is a Winthrop graduate with a B.S. in Business Administration and then an MBA is a long-time resident of the area and previously worked for Springs Industries. She joined the Rock Hill-based communications company in 2007 as Manager of Regulated Accounting. In 2016, she assumed responsibility for corporate financial analysis and budgeting functions and was appointed to the role of Corporate Controller in 2018. Like many of the company’s executive team, she embodies the spirit of servant leadership with a dedication to both the company and the local community.
