Three Local Charities Receive Vehicles Donated by Comporium
Comporium donated surplus vehicles to the Boys and Girls Club of York County, Tender Hearts Ministries and the Council on Aging at a brief ceremony on November 19 at the corporate headquarters. “These vehicles still have plenty of miles left in them,” said Comporium Executive Vice President and COO Glenn McFadden. As part of its support of the communities it serves, Comporium donates vehicles taken out of its fleet to local charities.
Lynn Garris, Marketing/Development Director of the York County Council on Aging said, “We’ve needed a truck for a long time. This will be used to transport food between our Senior Centers in surrounding communities, and will directly benefit our seniors. We’re grateful to Comporium for their dedication to the community, to our services and to the elderly in York County.”
