Thunderbird Newsgroup Setup

1. Navigate to Tools -> Account Settings and choose Add Account.

2. Choose Newsgroup account. Then they should click on Next.

3. The user will need to enter their name in the filed labeled Your Name and their e-mail address in the field Email Address. Then they should click on Next.

4. The user should then enter nntp.comporium.net in the field Newsgroup Server. Then they should click on Next.

5. The final window allows the user to confirm their settings. Click on Finish.

6. To access the newsgroups, use the navigation pane to the left of the client. The following is the Newsgroup Start Page. Choosing Manage newsgroup subscriptions brings up the second screenshot.
