Most e-mail clients have a setting that ends your Dial-Up connection once all of your e-mails have been delivered.  Below are osme instructions for adjusting this setting in Outlook Express.  If you need assistance with a different e-mail client, please contact technical support.

 

 

  1. Click on Tools -> Internet Options.
  2. Select the Connection Tab.

 

 

 

3.  Check to ensure the Hang up after sending and receiving setting is unchecked.  If it is checked, remove the check and click on Apply.  Then click on OK.  Your Dial-Up connection should now stay active after you check your e-mail.
