How to Set Up Outlook Express

 

1.      Click the Start button, then Programs (All Programs in Windows XP), and then Outlook Express.

 

 

 

2.      The New Account Wizard may start automatically.  If so, proceed to Step 5.

 

 

3.      On the Tools menu, click Accounts.

 

 

 

 

4.      Click Add, and then click Mail to open the Internet Connection Wizard.

 

 

 

5.      On the Your Name page of the wizard, enter your name as they want it to appear to everyone who gets e-mail from you, and then click Next.  Most people use their first and last name, but you can use any name (even a nickname) that people will recognize.

 

 

 

6.      On the Internet E-mail Address page, enter your e-mail address, and then click Next.

 

 

 

7.      On the E-mail Server Names page, enter the following server names and then click Next.

 

Incoming mail server (POP): mail.comporium.net

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.comporium.net

 

 

 

8. On the Internet Mail Logon page, enter your Account name and Password. If you wish for Outlook Express to remember your password, place a check in the box labeled Remember password.

 

 

9. Click Next, and then click Finish. The e-mail account is ready to use.
